Maddy Haber, MS, RD, NASM-CPT

RXRD was created for people who train like athletes but are often told to eat like everyone else. Through my work with CrossFit athletes and active individuals, I began to notice how much nutrition advice in fitness spaces is shaped by diet culture rather than actual performance needs. Fad diets, weight-loss plans, and generic “wellness” advice do not support highly active bodies and often lead to under-fueling, under-performing, and injury.

RXRD focuses on evidence-based nutrition for people who train hard and want guidance that is grounded, practical, and supportive of performance, not restrictive, moralized, or designed for a sedentary population. My approach prioritizes fueling, recovery, and long-term health over short-term fixes or weight-focused goals.

If you’re going to train like an athlete, you should eat like one.

My Founding Philosophies

Evidence-Based Nutrition

If there's one thing that really drives me crazy, it's the saturation of nutrition advice out there that isn't backed by science, or worse, that could be unsafe. I provide my clients with guidance rooted in the latest sports nutrition research and professional guidelines. No fads or gimmicks, just strategies that actually work.

Health At Every Size (HAES ) & Weight Neutrality

Performance isn't determine by the number on the scale. I believe that athletes of all shapes and sizes can train hard, recover well, and reach their goals. Together, we focus on fueling, strength, and recovery, letting your body respond to the right training and nutrition rather than chasing an arbitrary number.

No Unnecessary Food Restriction

Elite performance isn't always about eating perfectly "clean". While we do focus on foundational healthy habits, fueling for workouts, recovery, and peak performance sometimes require flexibility. Your nutrition plan includes all foods that help you train hard, recover well, and reach your goals, without fear or guilt over "off-limit" foods.

Why work with a Dietitian?

Not all nutrition coaches are created equal. Here's what sets Registered Dietitians apart from the rest.
